My Trip To Taman Tamaddun Islam (TTI) or Islamic Civilization Park

One thing that should not be forgotten for the trip to Kuala Trengganu is visiting to Taman Tamaddun Islam (TTI) or Islamic Civilization Park. The street to the Civilization Park is not too wide and crowd. Beside the street has been planted with hundred of trees that is very green and secure and peaceful. Moving from Kenangan Hotel to TTI is not so far that we spend about twenty minutes to reach there. I never know before what and how the TTI looks like. What I have imagined is something as a museum which is built in the middle of Trengganu city, high building, crowd of visiting people, a lot of noises and thriving technology must be available there. But the reality, the TTI seems to be a quite place. It might be because of raining that there are very few visitors appear. The raining is the big obstacle for me in this trip, that is raining almost a whole day.

However, when I and my classmates arrive at the TTI, we need to do for first is to stamp the particular passport for only in that park which the TTI officer will give us to get in. Nothing I feel interested while I am looking around which is outside the wall of TTI. As soon as getting in, my reflection is that it is amazing place that we can see on the higher land with beautiful standing of several duplicative mosques around the world. First we can see the duplication of Al-aqsor and Taj Mahal which is standing on higher ground. Mini train and mini electric cars bring us to visit to every duplicative mosque one by one. When standing on the duplicative building and looking around, we can see a very beautiful view which has the river around the park, and we can see the city across of the river. When looking around in the park, we will see the appearances of so many duplicative mosques are built surrounding the park. The feeling of visiting the buildings likes we have seen the real or original building of the mosques around the world because it really looks a like.

Anyway, we have seen and got the new knowledge about the all building such the National Mosque of Malaysia, Kudus Minar or Central Java Mosque of Indonesia, Pattani Central Mosque of Thailand, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque of Brunei, Taj Mahal of India, Badshali Mosque of Pakistan, Al-aqsor Mosque of Palestine, Great Mosque -Samarra of Iraq, Sheikh Lutfallah Mosque of Iran, Abu Nasr Parsa Mosque of Afghanistan, Al-Haram Mosque or Mecca Mosque of Saudi Arabia, Aleppo Citadel Mosque of Syria, Mohammed Ali Mosque of Egypt, Nabawi Mosque of Madinah Saudi Arabia, Suleyman Mosque of Turkey,        Qairawan Mosque of Tnisia, Palace of Al-Hambra Granada of Spain, Kalyan Minaret Mosque of Uzbekistan, Great Mosque of Agadez Nigar, Kul Sharif  Mosque of Russia and the Xian Mosque in China.

Of cause the big activity for us in the park is taking photos. After finish visiting all of building, it seems to be so tired for us that need to rebuild some energy or having lunch. After a while, the lunch is began which heavy meal and a glass of juice. Seating near the river which is breeze continuously facing our body, while we are having lunch, is very nice time. Nearby is the Crystal Mosque which is one of the very beautiful Mosque -sitting near the river- that I have ever seen before and it is where we pray after the big meal or lunch.     written by keem (16/1/2011)
