The last trip to Kuala Trengganu, we had stayed two days in Kenangan Hotel which is located in the middle of Trengganu city. Before arriving there, everyone had imagined and depicted of the Kenangan Hotel looks like. Soon after reaching there, we noticed on the wall of the building that was written “Kenangan Hotel”. The building was quite long built and old but it was equal if we consider the quality and the price. As soon as we get there, we quickly took our bags from the bus to the hotel for checking in. The hotel inside was dark and messy that making us felt unsafe. The counter was too small and the space for walking to the room was also very small. We took the lift to reach the third floor where our rooms are there. The lift looked very old and unsafe. There was a bad smell like the smell of an old building. Some times the lift did not work and did not open the door that makes us feel fear to use it again. However, after we open the door of our room, we felt so scare and fear of something because it was gloom, dark and bad smell like someone is smoking there. When we turn on the light, fan TV and open the windows, we felt better. After we took a rest for a moment, I went to bathroom to take a bath but it had no emotion to live in because the toilet was quite messy and unclean. The water came in yellow or a little bit brown and the shower did not work. After taking bath, I stood at the window to look around the hotel; I felt that it was so silence. There were not many people stay there. Anyhow, we stayed in the hotel just only at night because we mostly spent our time on travelling and shopping. (written by Hakeem Tanor)
